Reticulated foam features a 3D open-cell skeletal structure used across a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications, including gutter foam products, HVAC filtration and weep baffles, data center cooling systems, acoustic absorption products, outdoor and marine seating, automotive applications, speaker grill foams, and many other specialized uses.
Challenge
Customers required a specialized protective coating that could encapsulate the open-cell reticulated foam matrix while delivering highly specific end-use properties under demanding environmental conditions, including UV, chemical, abrasion, moisture, tear, fire retardancy, and anti-microbial protection.
